I met with the Water Minister yesterday to again raise constituent concerns about the proposed reservoir and to call for public scrutiny of the proposal.

I have had several meetings to progress various local campaigns that are a priority for me and my constituents.

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a reception at Number 10 Downing Street for people working in our great early years sector and was pleased to bring Julie, a childminder from Didcot who spent 14 years fostering around 30 families, as my special guest to recognise her incredible efforts.

As some of you may have read, a remarkable Roman villa was discovered in Grove recently and it was very exciting to pay a visit to it!

I am hosting my second annual Wantage and Didcot Science and Technology Forum, which Andrew Griffith MP - Minister for Science, Research and Innovation has kindly agreed to speak at.

I am proud to have hosted many local events since I was elected as your MP including an Apprenticeship Fair, Pensioners’ Fair, Farmers Forum, Crime Summits, Climate Summits and more.

HIF1 must be approved. Oxfordshire County Council asked the Government for millions of pounds to deliver it, then asked for even more money for it (which it received) and then turned around and rejected their own proposal.

I am delighted to see this announcement which will be welcome news to all of the veterans and member of the armed forces that I am proud to represent.
