Childcare

Following the visit of the Children's Minister to Didcot on Friday, I have today launched a childcare survey.

The Government is making the single largest investment in childcare in history and, by September 2025, parents will be entitled to claim 30 hours a week free childcare from when their child is 9 months until they start school.

My survey is a chance for local parents (or grandparents) and guardians/carers to give their views about how they find accessing childcare locally and what they'd like to see more of. I will share the results with the Department for Education.

You've all had enough leaflets from me to mean I don't need to recite what I think we achieved during my time so this is j
