Andy Holding, of the Wantage and Grove Station Supporters Group, today provided the final signature for David's petition to re-open Grove Station.


David said:

Thank you to Andy for kindly providing the final 2,127th signature for my petition to re-open Grove Station. It was good to update him on our progress and I will be presenting the petition to the House and meeting with the Rail Minister. We will continue to work together on this vital campaign.

Campaigning for Grove Station

I have been campaigning for Grove Station to be re-opened since I was first elected. There is strong local support for this, as shown when I carried out a survey which showed 98% of local people were in favour! With the local population continuing to grow, there is a clear need for the station.
