Pensions Minister

I met with the Pensions Minister, Laura Trott, on behalf of the AEAT Pension Campaign.

The campaign has taken big strides forward this year with the National Audit Office agreeing to my request to look at their case and the Public Accounts Committee subsequently holding an inquiry into it and producing their own report.

The Government now has to respond to the PAC's report and recommendations and, having met with the Campaign Group earlier in the week, I met with the minister to convey key points they asked me to get across. We now await the response from the civil servants at the DWP.

Since I was elected as your MP in 2019, many local residents have been in touch with me to share their concerns about the condition of our roads. I share these concerns and I experience these issues myself when I drive around our area.
