Since I was elected as your MP in 2019, many local residents have been in touch with me to share their concerns about the availability of health services locally – particularly the lack of new GP surgeries. This is something I have been campaigning on a lot in Parliament.

As there is a clear desire from local residents to see an improvement in our access to health services, I want to hear from you and ask you to take part in my new ‘Health Services Survey’.

I know that many local residents also have concerns about the lack of available NHS dentists and other health services.

I am keen to hear your thoughts on this as well as on other health issues that you feel need to be addressed in order to improve our health services.

I want to hear from as many people as possible, so please do take part if you are able to. The survey will be open until the 27th of April.

Once everybody has had the opportunity to contribute to the survey, I will be sharing the overall findings in Parliament, with the NHS and with the Councils.

I am hopeful that with a strong survey response we can clearly show the depth of feeling on this locally, and work to secure much-needed health improvements for our area.

Any information you provide will be kept anonymous. Data collected will only be used for Parliamentary purposes and will not be shared with a political party.

If you have an urgent issue to raise, please email me directly at david.johnston.mp@parliament.uk.
